Sedona

Day two of our Williams/Grand Canyon trip we went to Sedona!  We loved Sedona!  Cory and I were both very enamored with the cute little town and the gorgeous scenery!  It was a perfect day!

There was this super cool chapel built into the rocks.

We went to the trail head of Cathedral Rock, but decided it would be too much for the kids so we just ate lunch in the wash there.  It was pretty rocky terrain.  But the kids had fun tromping around.

There's Cathedral Rock.

From there we went to Slide Rock State Park, which was absolutely stunning!  My most favorite part of our trip!

I'm pretty sure these were just to look at, but well, we had kids.

And we were with an Airhart, which I heard makes it okay to bend the rules a little! :)

We found something Will could get excited about.  :)
We took this selfie, but then I decided that it would look better without us in it!
 That's better!
 Onto Slide Rock.

I love Cambry and Will in the background of this pic!
And Lily picking her wedgie in the background of this one!!  Hahaha!
Will wanted to get in, but it was a pretty dangerous current.

Cambry and Vienna in their knickers.  Joslyn mentioned how they were "those" people.  Well if they are "those" people, they are our people.  :)
Here's Will the last time we were at the beach in Perth with no bathers or knickers!  So we are "those" people and then some!  :)

So the natural water slide was the main attraction here.  Devin was the brave one who did it first.  That water was cold and it looked difficult to slide down so I wasn't particularly tempted.
Then Joslyn did it.  So I knew I had to, besides I was still regretting not rappelling down the waterfall on Labor Day.
 YOLO baby!

I had a hard time sliding down very gracefully.
I'd like to thank Devin for capturing what an old lady I am!  But at least I'm a fun old lady!
And seriously, it was so fun and thrilling!  So happy that I did it!
 The Slide Rock Swim Team!
A pretty great day!
