First Snowfall!!!

It got really cold mid November, like 7 degrees Fahrenheit, which is -14 degrees Celsius.  So the very coldest weather by far any of us had been in for a very long time.  We were freezing!  So I thought that if it was going to be that cold, at least it could snow!  Well, the very next day it did!  And we were excited!!!  It has been two years since we'd seen snow!  We were also cold!  So we didn't last long playing in it!

The morning it snowed was quite exciting for young Will.  It was snowing and the garbage truck came, and I'm not sure if you can tell or not in this photo, but a train was also going by!!  So much excitement!

 It really was like seeing snow for the first time for these kids since they were so little the last time they saw it!  Ava was especially amazed with wonder.

 We had a bunch of crazy ducks in our back yard who forgot to fly south for the winter.

 Finally, Lily got home from school so we could play some more!

 Ava really adores her sister, Lily.  It is very apparent in her face!

 Even Sofie got in on the action.

 We had fun on our first snow day in years!
