Early October

We did so much during the month of October this year!  I can hardly believe we fit it all into one month!!  It certainly was a fun and exciting month!

Here are some early goings on in the month of October.

I could not stop being stunned by the beauty all around us just walking out the door!  I was constantly taking pictures of just normal outside scenes, I was so overwhelmed!  This is the kids school playground!  I know, I'm a total dork, but after living in the Australian outback, these major splashes of color were just too much to take!

 My kids had never been on a tire swing before!  They absolutely loved swinging on this thing together!  The first time was so funny!  Will screamed like a little girl the whole time!  It was great!

 It's the simple things!

 We made and decorated Halloween sugar cookies.

 Oh, man.  So remember how the first day of school was picture day and I didn't know it?  And school starts much earlier here than we're used to, so it was hard to get out the door on time?  Well here is the result of all that!  Needless to say, we got retakes!!!

 I love these two together!

 Sofie jumped full on into the world of food.  She loves most everything!  Here she is trying her first green smoothie.  She wasn't too sure at first, but she seriously loves them now!

 I seriously love Ava's artwork, but I can't keep them all.  She really does draw hundreds of pictures, so I like to take pictures of them.  I love her unicorn genre!
