January Joys

After all the Holiday madness, we made it back home to Logan with a few days to decompress before it was back to school and work and the normal every day grind.  We all enjoyed the little bit of down time!  The kids hadn't even seen half of their presents since they opened them since we didn't want to loose all the pieces or have them broken before we got home.  So it was like second Christmas!  It was great!  They had so much fun playing with all their new things!  Will got this gigantic cardboard train to color and put together.  All the kids had fun with this gift!

 How cute is this kid??

Once it was all together, the kids had so much fun playing in it all together!  It was such a hit!  It was a really great gift for all.  They played with it for weeks and then when it finally all fell apart we just put it in the recycling bin!  Perfect!  :)

Lily and Ava wasted no time enjoying their new dress up wardrobe from Grandma and Grandpa Rowe.

I was so excited that it finally looked like winter around here.  It was breathtaking!
Sofie has a lot of new teeth.  I loved the way her teeth are coming in.  I think her little snaggle tooth is so cute!!!
It warmed up quite a bit and the kids were so excited to use their new bikes!!  Yahoo!

Since it was so warm, we decided to walk to school pick up, but I forgot that melting snow makes mud!

Will quite literally got stuck in the mud!
Will loves to take photos.  Here's a great one of Cory.  The girls one day started singing to him, Dad and his phone sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g!  It was so hilarious!  I love when kids call us out and put us in our place.  I try to remember that and put my phone away!!
Smile!  Will always says when he's going to take my picture.
I think this was some sort of detective club.

I took this picture because I was so excited about frosted window panes!  Doesn't that look so charming?
Here is a Will flower!  This is Sofie's flower towel from Grandma Rowe.  Will likes to use it sometimes.  :)

Here's Sofie in the cute little thing!

Sadly, almost all my kids got pink eye.  So we had to ditch school for a few days.  Here are the kids in the rocket they made out of boxes.  They all had so much fun together!

One night, Will and Ava were running around like this.  It was their pirate clothes, not sure how.  But they were playing so cute together!  Here they are saying, ARRRR!

Will came upstairs one morning like this.

It reminded me of his Uncle Devin, who many years before got a crayon stuck up in his nose!  Luckily, nothing got lodged up there, but it did make me wonder what goes on in the strange workings of a little boys mind!

We had Martin Luther King Jr day off, and we did a craft and Lily was in heaven.  Isn't she adorable?  I love this little lady! Lily already blogged all about our candle jars on her blog, Crafternoons with Lily.
Those are just a few of our joys in January!

Married for 9 Years and Counting!

I know everyone says this about their spouse, but, when I say it, you can believe me, I seriously won the jack pot when I married Cory!  I knew Cory for a long time before we got hitched and I knew him in a lot of different ways, as a co-worker, as a friend, as a friend's brother, as a boyfriend and as a fiancee, to name a few.  But it was still the biggest gamble of both of our lives, and I won the jackpot!!!  I try hard every day to make Cory feel the same way about me, but I'm afraid, he just didn't get as lucky as I did!  I love Cory so much and I wouldn't want to be with anyone else!  I am so grateful that he puts up with my crazy (and I am crazy!) and loves me any way!!!  Men don't come much better than that!  I am so glad that I hitched myself to his wagon 9 years ago and get to experience all that life will bring together with him!  Cory is the most loving, forgiving, and fun person I know and I will love him forever!  So here's to 9 years down, eternity to go!

Sorry, if now you have to clean up your own spew after that corny monologue, but here are a few flash back pictures, to January 7, 2006.  Where we were literally cleaning up real spew, all day long!  Almost every single member of the Rowe family threw up at one point or another on the day we got married!  Our union literally made them sick!  I'm glad they got over it and fully accepted me into their family!  ;)

Okay, get out your barf bag one more time, I'm not finished!!  Ow, ow ow!!  Look at that babe!!!  Seriously, so hot!!!!  How cute is that guy???  So adorable!  I'm in love!!!
Here are all the attendees....so much changes in 9 years!!!  Not only are our siblings so tiny and any nieces or nephews who happened to exist on this day, but half these people I don't even ever see anymore!  Crazy!
 My family
 My parents and grandparents.
 The parents.
Cory's parents.  Cory's dad no longer has a mustache!!  It was an end of an era!
Do we look 9 years younger??

First step on the road to eternity!  (Still puking?)
I love this picture!!!  Look how young all these beautiful people are???  Love it!
And Neal, he looks like a baby!!!!
So excited to see what the next year will bring for Cory and I and our family!  I love you, Cory!!!
