Aunty Sara Returns from Her Mission! Hooray!

Ever since we got back from Australia, we have been anxiously awaiting the return of my sister, Sara in the Philippines!  It seems like it took forever, even thought she came home only 4 short months after us...but it felt like forever!  But she is now back and we love having her around!

I had grand plans of being at the airport, but we live in Logan and the kids had school the next day and for lots of other reasons we didn't make it...and well, neither did anyone else, except Joslyn here!  At least my parents had gone and picked her up in the Philippines so they were on the flight with her!
Here's Sara meeting her newest niece, Sofie, for the first time.

So happy to have my sister back close by!  I could be happy with her even a little closer, but this is much better than half way around the world!

The kids are also super excited to have Aunty Sara back!!  And Sara looks absolutely radiant in all these pictures!  She is just glowing!

All my siblings who live nearby got together and we went to dinner with my parents and my Grandma to welcome Sara home.  It was chaos with my kids.  I really don't like eating out with my children, or even at all.  I can't have a good conversation and I'm always half way in one or another conversation on either side of me.  I like not having to cook, but restaurant atmospheres aren't for me at least at this stage of my life.  Take out all the way baby.  But forget me, I think Sara had a good time!  Devin looks like he is!

Look how Lily is doing Devin's exact face in this picture!!!  Haha!  They've always been kindred spirits!

Aww, how we all love Uncle Neal!

Even Sofie does...she was loving his peek a boo!
I love how I'm surrounded by three beautiful women in this photo!!  And a miniature beauty right in front of me!  Myla's little eyes!

I mentioned my parents had just been in the Philippines picking Sara up.  Well before that they went to China also.  So they had some little gifts for all the grandkids.  Sofie got these cute little slippers.

 Adorable!

Noelle and Sofie bonding!  Certainly getting close.  :)

All the cute bigger girls with their souvenirs.

That Sunday was Sara's homecoming talk.  She did very well.  We all love her sweet spirit and wonderful testimony.  She is an example and friend to all who know her.

Here are the only pictures I took on Sunday.  These two!

  1. Let the record show that I was almost to the Airport but had to fix Mom's car so that they all could get home from the Airport... in the freezing snow!
