Next order of business: Christmas!

It was a bit strange to miss Thanksgiving, but once we got back from Paris it was full swing into all things Christmas.  Our November was so chaotic, with me directing the school play and taking an impromptu trip to Paris, just look at the sad state of affairs of our gratitude tree.   Not our best... but I am glad that we still managed to recognize our blessings and take the time to express gratitude for them.

I love this little worker girl.
Here is Will getting into the Christmas spirit and "decorating" or rather TPing our house.  I'm pretty sure he has underwear on here, but it is hard to tell.  You never know with that kid.
Christmas tree time.  Ever since we moved back to the states, I have desperately wanted to recreate the tradition my family did growing up, and that was to go out in the mountains and cut down your own Christmas tree, but alas, this year once again was not the year for that. So we headed to our favourite family tree lot instead.

 It was pretty cold.

We managed to find a good one.

The kids were all eager to decorate it.

 Finished product.
I made this snowman with the help of the kids for the school play.  I was quite pleased with it.

We also had the ward Christmas party.  That was a crazy day!  We just went from one thing to another to another!  But we enjoyed the party.

I always love when there is a Santa at the ward party.  No need for a trip to the mall.
