Christmas Cookies and Snowstorms

My sister in law sent us the best gingerbread recipe I have ever made!  It was so easy and quite tasty!  The kids loved making them.

Ava had a great idea to make a gingerbread nativity scene.  I loved it and I think we'll have it be our new Christmas tradition.
Look how cute that turned out.

Nothing better than cookies on a snowy day.  I love this picture of the tree with the snow.
I couldn't have asked for better December weather.
These two cute little sledders didn't last long.

 I just love the snow!
We were having a super hero morning once.

 Up, up and away!
 And to infinity and beyond!

I was looking through our family pictures and I noticed this little hand holding action.  So cute!
My kids got a royal summons to their grandma's house for Christmas.  They loved it!
Much to Cory's chagrin I took on a project for Sofia's Christmas present.  Unfortunately, Cory had to be Santa's little elf for me quite a bit on this project.  Here's some progress pictures.  I painted it... Cory mostly had to do the rest.
