Swinging Saturday and more

After the snow melted, we returned to regular spring weather and regular spring life. 

You gotta start the day with a good breakfast.  This baby loves yogurt!!  And she loves to feed herself.

I was training for the Ogden Marathon all winter and spring.  One Saturday morning I ran all the way to Wellsville and back.  Only 18 miles round trip.  But this statue of a man was on my way into Wellsville.  Can't see it very well in the pic, but it's pretty cool. 

Cory has seriously been fantasizing about cleaning all the sticks out of the river for weeks!  So this Saturday all the stars aligned in his favor.  He wasn't out of town, we didn't have anything else planned and he was free to rake sticks out of a freezing cold river to his hearts content! 

Of course, he had a little buddy helping him out every step of the way! 

Whenever Will's rake would get stuck, Will would say, Can you give me a hand please daddy? It was too cute! 

Then after Cory was done playing in the river, he decided to climb the back yard tree!  He just couldn't get enough fun this day!!  We finally hung the tree swing we talked about hanging all winter long.  It was a lot harder than you would think!!!  But we got it up there. 

And it is oh, so much fun!

It has been aptly named the crazy swing by Will.

The girls found this old tire and decided to make a swing out of it as well while we were at it. 

We also like to float things down the river and catch them at the bridge.  :) The backyard is just endless fun!
