April Showers...Utah Style

Snow!!  Finally, an amazing snow storm, in the middle of April!! In fact, on Sofia and Cory's birthday to be exact! 

Could there be any cuter snow bunny??

 The next day we tried out Sofie's new birthday present.  We weren't exactly planning on doing it in a snow suit, but it worked.  In fact, she just hung out in there while we built snowmen.  Then she fell asleep.

 Since it was the day after a birthday, this snowman got to wear a birthday hat.

 We had trouble keeping the eyes in.

 This snow was the perfect snowman making snow ever!  Plus the sun was out and it was nice and warm.

 This snowman got carrot eyes and a carrot nose.  He looks quite concerned.

 Then we decided to get the potatoe head pieces for a snowman face.

 Pretty hilarious!

 Will also gave the new swing a try and loved it!

 We had so much fun playing in the snow all morning long.

 By the afternoon, most of the snow had melted so we headed over to the pond.  We were so excited to get to see the new baby goslings!!!  So cute!

 Sofie was in love!

 Only in a Utah spring do you get to build snowmen in the morning and feed baby goslings in the afternoon!

 Then we decided to play on the snowy playground.  That didn't last too long!  All and all it was the great snow day we'd been waiting for all winter long!  Little did we know we were just in need of an April shower!
