Lily going straight to the top of the tarantula.
Uncovering fossils never seems to get old. :)
Neither does a giant T-Rex head!
Ava amazes me now on what she is willing to try on the playground nowadays. Her confidence in her physical abilities has really grown.
The kids were all extremely excited to show grandma the kangaroos.
And lucky for us, there was one right by the fence. :0)
Here's Will, jumping like a kangaroo.
Next up, feeding the ducks. Of course, I always forget bread, so these ducks got crackers and popcorn today.
Always a hit, Hammond Park.
The other must see in Kagoorlie is the Super Pit. So we took grandma there on Tuesday after school. And Will was in little boy heaven.
The pit, in all it's glory.
Giant tires are always a big hit.
I had been wanting a good picture of all four kids ever since Sofie was born and I got some! The secret is the setting. Do it in a place that Will absolutely loves, then he can't help but be happy in the photos.
That snuggly Will is evidence of how much he was loving where he was at.
My mother, grandma Rappleye, sent over this butterfly cake pan. So of course, the girls wanted to make a cake straight away. They called it the night before Perth cake.
Here are a few pics of that snuggly Sofie snail.
The last thing that grandma wanted to see in Kal was Cory's place of employment, KK Machinery. So we went for lunch on Wednesday. Also Will's heaven on earth. Here's Will driving a digger of some kind.
After that, it was time for Grandma to say good bye to Kalgoorlie and hello Perth! Grandma would finish up her Australian adventures in Perth.
