Week One with Grandma: Mother's Day Morning Tea, Crafts and More

What a dream it was to have Grandma come to stay!  All the kids got to make up for lost bonding time in a matter of two weeks.

Will didn't waste any time educating Grandma about his favorite things.  Trucks, trucks and more trucks!

Sofie snuggles were a favorite past time.  Here she is in a nightgown my sister, Angela sent.  Thank you, Angela!
Lily and Ava didn't waste any time getting to the many crafts and projects that Grandma brought with her.  Some from Grandma Rappleye and some from her.  Thank you to both Grandmas!

One of my sweet Young Women, Chloe, gave Sofie this onsie, so we were trying to take a picture of her in it to send to her.  The onsie says, "Been inside for 9 months" it's pretty funny and you gotta love Sofie's cross eyes in this one...makes it very believable that she's been "inside" for 9 months..;)

One of the rare moments she wasn't being held during Grandma's visit.  :)
It was the week of Mother's day and Ava's class had a lovely Mother's Day Morning Tea on Wednesday, May 7th that we got to go to.
 Playing in the sand pit.

Ava was so excited to have Grandma there with her.
It was fun to be there.  I always enjoy events at the girls school.  :)
I had to include this picture of Will following the big boys around.
Lucky Grandma got a manicure and pedicure from Ava.

I just love these pictures of Will.  He just looks like such a big kid, and well, he kind of is.  Not my baby boy anymore!

It was a very lovely morning tea.

Aunt Shannon sent a Magic Loom Band kit.  Which the girls love.  Here is Lily wearing all of her loom bands, even a belt!

Another fancy craft from Grandma Rappleye.
I love this picture, Will having Ava do his craft for him while he plays with his truck.  That boy is going to be so spoiled by all these girls.  He is one lucky little guy!  Brothers wouldn't do that for you!
 Lily's rainbow and Ava's butterfly.

While Grandma was here the girls got to take in school swimming lessons.  So we went over to the Oasis on Friday and watched the girls do their swimming.

Lily is the one swimming in this picture.

Here is Ava's class.  These swimming lessons were the best thing that ever happened with Ava and swimming!  She is a pro now!  I couldn't be happier.  :) Ava is the second one from your right with her face in!

I didn't think it was possible for someone to look so cute in goggles!

The first week with Grandma went by so fast!  But it was a great first week spent with Grandma!
