Perth: King's Park

I have blogged about King's Park many times before because it certainly is a must see while in Perth.  And no matter how many times we go, I enjoy it everytime.  Not sure if you enjoy reading about it and seeing the same pictures of it over and over again, but, here we go again.

Prime time to go to King's Park, in my opinion, is at dusk, just before sundown.  That way you can see it in the light, then also in the dark, because both are spectacular.  :) So after our day at Hillary's Harbour we took a little rest in the afternoon, then headed out to King's Park just before sundown.

So gorgeous in any season!
The whispering wall, always a hit with the kids.
Loving those red flowers! As we were walking past, there was one purple flower amongst the reds.  Dare to be different!  :)
 Aww, my big kids!

The beautiful look out.  Love this view...especially with those four in it!!
Oh, that Will, he almost never holds still!

Until he decides to take a rest on the wet grass!

But mostly they were all running like crazy!
Little Sofie, snug as a bug, or should I say snug as a Sofie snail!
There are all sorts of cool trees around the park.

We stayed til it got dark, then decided to call it a night.  We dropped all the kids off with Grandma and Cory and I took advantage of our last few nights with a babysitter and being in a city with a lot more options!  :)
It was a great and exhausting first day.  In fact, I'm a little embarrassed to say that I fell asleep on the way to the restaurant we went to that night!  Talk about being a terrible date!  But then at least I was able to stay awake at the restaurant!  Oh dear, true signs that I am getting old!  :)
