Sofia Matilda's Blessing Day

Mother's day this year was extra special because it was Sofie's blessing day!  And what a blessing to me as a mother she is!  We love this sweet, placid, calm, adorable new addition to our family.  I am grateful for the opportunity to mother all four of my wonderful children.  What amazing blessings they are in my life and I am so glad that I get to have them on loan from our Heavenly Father for a little while.  And while I'm stuffing it up most of the time, I'm glad that they are all doing their job helping me to learn and grow and come closer to our Savior.  And lucky for me they are all very forgiving.  :)  I love Lily and Ava and Will and Sofie so much!

Anyways, back to Sofia's blessing day.  Cory's mom made Sofie an absolutely amazing blessing dress.  The talent just exudes from that lady.  If I could just have a sliver of it, I would be happy!

Here is the star of the day in her amazing dress!

Grandma also made these amazing matchy matchy ruffle skirts for the girls.
And this adorable bow tie for the Mr. Will.

 Happy mother's day to me!

Here are all the attempts we made at getting some good pictures of all the kids and the family.  There are a lot of attempts and hardly any good ones of everyone.  But just for fun, I'm posting every last attempt!

Just the girls!
 Lily and Sof.
 More girls.
 We tried to include Will.
Haha....he did not want to be there.
 Love all those ruffles!
Will and Sof.  Haha, he still didn't want to be there, but he took care to keep that baby safe.

 More just girls.

Tried to include Will again.  No pictures, please!  He's practicing up to avoid the paparazzi.  :)

Will's in these ones, but he still isn't looking.

Sofie's blessing was absolutely beautiful.  Sofia was blessed to be a peacemaker, and to have a firm and immovable testimony of the gospel and to grow up to marry in the temple.  The most interesting thing I found about her blessing was how much her dad spoke about getting an education and being well educated.  I thought it was quite appropriate since the name Sofia means wisdom.

Here we all are at the church.

We were so happy Grandma Kris could be there with us for Sofie's blessing and Mother's Day!

Me and my girls.

Tried to get a family photo...Ava was in a bad spot...she should have been on the other side of Will and then it may have been perfect!

I'm one lucky mama!

Isn't that dress so gorgeous???
When we got home, we decided to make one more attempt at a decent family photo...what can I say? I am my mother's daughter!!:)
Still to no avail however...we'll wait a few years then maybe we can get a decent family photo of all of us that we actually pay money for.
This one is my fav, because it really says it all!

Ava took this beautiful picture of Lily.  :)
I wanted to show off all those ruffles!  So fun!

Since it was mother's day, the girls did a day spa for grandma and myself.  Painting Grandma's toes.
And fixing her hair.  :)
My own fancy manicure!
My fancy hair and make up.
Here I am with the fabulous beauty experts themselves.  Oh, how I love them.
