Water Fun Day and Other Stuff

So Lily's school is right next to the Oasis, which is a huge recreation center with swimming pools and weight rooms and everything that goes with a recreation center.  So Lily's school gets to go there a few times in the year to have what they call a Water Carnival.  They have a bunch of competitions, well the older kids do. Lily's grade just got to go and play in the kiddie pools outside.  They did do some games, but I don't think they kept track of who won or lost or anything.

Here is our cute little swimmer, ready to go!

Here's Lily with her team, waiting for the first event.

They had to pass a sponge from the front of the line over and then under, and then the last person had to squeeze the water from the sponge into a bucket.  Lily was the last person, so she was the sponge squeezer.  The kids were having so much fun!

My phone battery died after this event, and so I decided to take the other kids home since it was really difficult to try and keep Will out of the water!  Anyways, she looked like she had lots of fun!

This was the last day of school before Easter break, so later on in the day they had an Easter Hat Parade with these cute hats they made.

Isn't that such a cute hat she made?  I think she looks darling!
And here are just a few other random pictures.

Here is Ava and her friend, Annabelle.  I had some extra fabric from Ava's mermaid tail so I made one for Annabelle too.  Aren't they darling little mermaids?

Here are the kids at the Primary Easter Activity.

Here are the girls being silly.

They always want me to take pictures of the most random stuff.  So here are a few weird random pictures.

I attempted to make homemade samoa girls scout cookies, and though they may look like the real deal, it wasn't it!  You just can't counterfeit that stuff, I guess.  I just needed some high fructose corn syrup, or some other processed chemical that's really bad for you, and then I would have had it!!!  I miss those cookies!  One day, I'll eat one again.
