But before we did our own backyard hunt, I had heard that the Target store here was having an Easter egg hunt, so I thought we would go check it out. Oh my goodness. It was the strangest thing ever. All these people who had probably heard the same as me that there would be an egg hunt at Target at 11 am were like roaming around the store. It got later and later and we figured it wasn't really happening, when someone dressed in an Easter bunny costume comes out of no where frantically grabbing all the chocolate eggs he can by the registers, while kids are trying to say hi to him, but he is ignoring them. Then after he fills a basket he has with eggs, he starts running down aisles just chucking them on the floor and then he was gone. Oh my goodness, I was dying laughing. It was just so weird!
Here are the kids before we left to go to Target.
Here is Ava crying because she only got two eggs, but I think she faired better than most kids there expecting a hunt. Lily was so sweet and re-hid two of her eggs she found so that Ava could find more.
After that we came home and had our own egg hunt. Lily helped dad hide the eggs. So much for her believing in the Easter bunny! :)
Here is the little crew ready to find some eggs.
Here they are on the search.
Ah, success!:)
Here is a video of some of the hunt. I apologize for how much I talk!
Here are the kids enjoying their spoils.
Later that night, the Easter bunny paid us a visit and hid the kids baskets around the house while they were showering. Here are the kids finding and enjoying the contents.
It was a great day packed full of Easter fun!

Ah such a cute little easter for you all! In the other post I love the tomb rolls! That is genius!
