So when I first got here the accent is a little tricky to understand all the time. I had to say "What?" a lot. And like I said they do have a little bit different lingo. One thing that I thought was quite interesting is that it is common to add the word "as" on the end of all descriptive words. So I will hear quite frequently "awesome as" or "huge as" or "scary as" and so on.
So before I knew this was a thing that people do often, this cute little six year old boy, Alex, was telling me a story about his sister catching a "huge as" fish. I was a little taken aback at first because with the accent and the unfamiliar phrase, I thought this six year old boy was saying "huge a**" I thought this for a while, and the kid kept saying "as" after everything, so I mentioned something to Cory and he informed me that it was a frequently used phrase to add the word "as" on the end of lots of words. We both couldn't stop laughing!
Here is Alex, the sweet little potty mouth(or so I thought)! Dropping the A-bomb all the time! Haha!

HILARIOUS!!! I love hearing the cultural mixups
