Bear Lake Brawl and other stuff

We headed up to Bear Lake on Labor day, for fun and so I could have a go at doing an open swim in it before the Bear Lake Brawl Triathlon that Saturday.

Bear Lake is so beautiful.

 And so fun!

 We stopped at this cool cave on our way back.

 My sister, Aimee, came into town from Missouri and she came and spent a day with me!  Yay!

 The night before, we had gone to dinner with all my sisters and mom.

 Always a good time.

 My brother and his family came up for the Bear Lake Brawl.  I've always wanted to do a triathlon, and my brother actually trained for one.  I just decided to do it with him two weeks before with very minimal training.  In fact, I hadn't even ever ridden a bike since I don't know when.  Anyways, I'm so glad I decided to do it!  Check that off my bucket list!

 Another victory happened that night, Ava learned how to ride a two wheeler!  Yay!  However, I'm certain it won't stick and she'll have to relearn it next year!
