Performance Weekend

The first weekend in March is when all the rehearsing payed off.  It was time to perform Alice in Wonderland.  They had four performances total.  Cory left to Australia the day after their opening night.  So Cory went to their performance on Thursday night.  Then my parents came up on Friday night and we all went to the play that night.  And Will and Sofie were both disasters at the play!  I don't know what made me think they would be good.  There is no supporting evidence.  But I guess you live and learn.

My two stars!  I love them!

Will photo bombing with the tape measure???

Outside the door of the Ellen Eccles theater.

Here is Lily being a doorknob.  Cutest little doorknob I've ever seen!
There's Ava as a flower garden.  Could that flower hat be any more amazing?  When Ava came out in that, Will exclaimed for all to hear, "What the heck?"  That's when I decided I better go out with the kids!

Here they are as teacups and saucers at the mad hatters tea party.

After the show, we saw that Avery, one of Ava's favorite school friends was at the show with her dad.  So that was fun!

We were so glad grandma and grandpa could come all the way up to Logan to see the play.  We love them.

There was a fun after party after the play.  The kids, especially Ava, really had a good time with this photo booth.
Will has wanted a cowboy hat ever since.

 We loved this photo bomber!

Will thought he was one of the big kids.
After their final show, we got ice cream at the Bluebird again.  The kids really love that fancy place.

We loved participating in the Unicorn Theater this winter.  The girls learned a lot and had so much fun!  Here's a picture of the entire ensemble.
