Here's our little Aussie cleaning out the whipping cream bowl! :)
We invited a few families from our ward over to enjoy some trifle and pavlova, two classic Australian dishes. It was a great night, filled with great food and great conversation.
I didn't really take any pictures that night, but someone else did...
Here is a shot of the amazing pavlova, which I did no make. My friend, Emma, did. Her husband served his mission in Australia and she is just amazing. Pavlova is pretty hard to make...she inspired me to try it one day. Maybe next Australia day. :)
The girls were so excited to celebrate Australia day so they made these super cute decorations.
A peacock.
An emu and a kangaroo.
Not sure what this is...city hall?
I think they're pretty cute, even if they are a little obscene. Hehehe...
It was fun to celebrate Australia day in memory of our wonderful time spent in that wonderful country. I surely do love Australia and always will. I think it's a wonderful new tradition that we will always celebrate, we do have a little Aussie afterall! :)
