Life is but a dream...: June Jumble

Here are some pictures from everyday life for the rest of the month of June.

Here are Lily and Ava working on a craft. A very regular occurrence in our house.

This is from a family night about the Book of Mormon.

Lily got a fish back in January and I decided it was fun and all, but it was time to say goodbye to our two little fish friends. That you can't even see in the picture...they were always hiding and this tank was quite dirty...one of the main reasons it was time to say goodbye. Lily couldn't clean it herself and I really couldn't be bothered. We found them a good home.

Toilet training madness was going on the last part of June and I am happy to say that the Will monster is now completely toilet trained. He does have some unconventional methods that we need to work on....like taking his pants and underpants completely off before he gets to the toilet, even when we're out places, like church! But that's another story for another day!

Our house is also now up for sale since it is owned by KK Machinery and since KK Machinery is filing bankruptcy, they're selling everything. So we had our first house showing and were given about 24 hours notice. So our house was a mess!!!!! I had been full on toilet training and when you do that, there is no time for anything else. So it was a disaster zone! Not to mention, Lily woke up that morning too sick to go to school, so I just kept both girls home and started cleaning. I cleaned from 8 am to 4 pm and got it ready just in the nick of time! So Ava made her own lunch that day and even put a little peanut butter smiley face on it. :)

We had some friends over one morning. Heaps of babies!! From left to right, baby Charli, born in January, one of the Kaa twins, Tiariki, born end of December, baby Sofie, and the other Kaa twin, Curtis.

In some of these, Sofie looks like she is holding hands with the twins!

I was changing Sofie one day and I realized that she is always covered and I hardly get to enjoy these chubby thighs cause it is so cold here right now!

But they are chubby and delicious!!

We all took a round with being sick...except for Cory, lucky guy! But I was sick, so I decided to lay down early...and look at what happened!! Ava cut her own fringe (as they call bangs here)!

This is the third time she has cut her own hair and is one of her worse hack jobs. Future hairdresser?? She was quite remorseful by the time she showed me, so I assured her that hair grows back and it doesn't matter, but next time, just tell mom you want a hair cut and we'll have the professionals do it!

Ava's class did a musical number at the school assembly. This is a horrible picture, but she was a parrot and they sang I Just Can't Wait to be King, from the Lion King. Ava's a pretty good little singer.
