Down town Kal, from Sara's perspective

So we took Sara down the main street here in Kalgoorlie the other day.  I know I already posted about this, but Sara took some more artsy kind of photos than I did, so I thought I would share a few.  Isn't interesting how different people can do the exact same thing, but they each have a very different experience?  I love that about people!  That is why everyone is valued and needed.  We all add a different perspective on things.  Anyways, that was a really weird tangent!  Here are some of the photos Sara took.

Here's the mining Museum, this is towering over the town at the end of main street.
Here is the clock tower, see aren't these photos so much more artistic? It is actually making the town look classy. Which it is...LOL!

We took a million photos in front of this monument, not sure why, but the kids are pretty cute in all of them, so I put them all in.

As you can see Ava is still obsessed with her yellow overalls, I think she has been wearing them in the last few posts, and she wore them on her birthday, so probably in the next one too!

Here's the fountain in the middle of the town square with the creepy story.  Sara took a picture of each plaque with a part of the story, so I'll put it on here for you to read yourself.

Pretty interesting, hey?

Remember last time we were here there was a shopping cart in the fountain?  Well this time there were a few chairs.  It's just how we roll here in Kal.
Cute Will checking out the submerged chair.

Some more artistic photo's of the architecture.

And here I am with the kiddos at the miner statue at the end of Historic Hannan's  Street.

So there you have it.  Downtown Kal, revisited!

  1. Sara really does have an eye for beauty! I bet she could make a complete ghetto look more like a artistic village! haha
