To celebrate this exciting day, we had a birthday bash for him on Sunday.
He started with a manly and hearty steak dinner.
Waiting for the party to start in his most favorite place to be, or should I say on his most favorite place to be!
While waiting for the party to begin, Will fell asleep!!! So when the guests all arrived and it was present opening time, he was a little out of it! Good thing he has some older sisters and cousins to help out!
Doesn't he look thrilled?
This one is my favorite, it really captures the chaos and bombardment! LOL!
But we were glad for the help, because as you can see, Will just sat there!
He started perking up near the end.
Here is the masterpiece that I made for him. I'm not sure how good of a gift is was for him since I completely neglected him for two weeks to make it, but I'm hoping he'll forgive me and get lots of good use out of it!
Next up was the cake, I decided to stick with the car theme, and attempted this cake. Cory saved it, when I was ready to give up on it! So it turned out great, with Cory's help!
I don't have any picture of the candle blowing, that's how lame I am! I think Cory does on his phone, but I didn't want to wait to get it from him to post this!
Here are the older kids enjoying the cake and ice cream.
Ava and Sterling.
Lily and Trevor.
And here is the mess making birthday boy chowing down.
Lily sneaking in on the picture action!
Looking thoroughly satisfied.
But wait, he needs ice cream too! So I gave him a scoop, but he insisted on keeping the scooping spoon for his own use!
Even though he was a sleepy little guy, it was still a pretty fun first birthday party! We were so glad we could share it with so many loved ones!
Here is Will playing with his own personalized car road map today.
He looks just like his dad here, maybe its the nap hair we had going on all day today?
Look at him here, can you not just hear the car noises coming out of his mouth???
He is so much fun and we love him!!! Happy Birthday, Will!!!!

Oh I do love that little Will! He's such a handsome little man. I had to laugh that it looks like he still loves to steal any spoons that come his way!
ReplyDeleteHe is still guilty of stealing spoons! How are things going with two??? I can't wait to meet that little Sawyer (sorry not sure how you're spelling his name!)
DeleteHe is so cute! Sorry, we didn't call to wish him a happy birthday. We were on vacation. Whoops. Anyway, I can't believe how similar Will can look to Vienna in some of these pictures.
ReplyDeleteYour car mat turned out really well! I bet he loves it!
