Snowbird

At the beginning of the summer we went up to Snowbird one weekend when my parents were there with their timeshare.  We all had a great time!  We went up Saturday afternoon and stayed the night.  Here are some of the fun things we did.

We found some snow,

 and threw a snowball,

 then ate some!!!

We walked around looking for fun,

 and found some!  We didn't pay for a pass, but they weren't busy at all, so the guy running the bounce house and slide let the girls play for free!

We also found a super fun playground!  The kids all loved it!

 A slide "just my size" according to Ava! So she actually went down it.  She's a pretty big wuss when it comes to slides.

This playground was just filled with fun!  Lily doing the monkey bars all by herself!

I think Grandpa helped a little! :)  Here's Will at the rock climbing wall at the playground!  Couldn't do much then, but if we went now I have no doubt he would climb it!  He is such a little monkey!  Its amazing how much they change in just a few short months!

After a long afternoon at the playground we decided to go swimming, even though it was freezing!!!

We didn't last long in the regular pool, everyone quickly ran to the hot tub. Ah, nice and warm!

Herriman Splash Park

This spring and summer have been particularly hot and my girls were itching to get to the swimming pool, but the pool hadn’t opened yet!  So we decided to go to the Splash Park!

It was Will’s first time and he liked it, but he wanted all the water to stay on!  Will would get playing in the water and then it would turn off.  So then he would crawl to the next part that was on and by the time he got there they would turn off.  So Will needed a splash park  that just stayed on!!

My favorite memory of this particular day at the splash park was that Ava decided she was done and stripped down.  Meanwhile, I’m feeding Will on a bench across the park.  So I notice Ava is naked and as I run over to rectify the nude situation, I flash everyone also, since I was in the middle of breast feeding!  Anglea was there and she declared it a family affair-nudie day at the park!  LOL!

Backyard Fun

Ever since we moved out of our condo, we have all loved having a backyard.  Especially me!!!  My girls will play out there for hours!  Will loves it also, if only I could throw him out there and shut the door!  Just kidding, that will come soon enough, he is growing so fast!!!

After three and five years, we are still learning how to smile! It is a process that I don’t think my girls will ever master! Haha! I love them!
