First Moon Landing

Lily is a major space geek.  So we celebrated the day of the first moon landing on July 20th.

We made space cookies.

 We made moons and astronauts.

Will was super excited about his Buzz Lightyear cookie.

 We did some moon crafts.

We watched the moon landing on you tube.  We also played pin the star on the astronaut.  And then ended with a dance party somehow.  It was a fun thing to celebrate.  I sure am glad to live with a space geek.

Impromptu Hike

We went to the mouth of the canyon where the damn is.  It was fun!

We went through the tunnel across the street and started following this trail up the mountainside.  We just kept going and going and when we got to the top this is what we disappointingly found!  Hahaha!

It was still a fun hike!  The kids all started rock climbing at the top.

Here's a nicer view at the switch back.

This baby just sat down to rest by this tree.  It was too cute!

Will and his best buddy Woody.

 My big girl.
This cute baby is a huge fan of the green smoothie!  Finally, after four kids, I've figured out how to get one to eat healthy...at least for now.

July Fun

These little glowing fairies have been working on their fairy garden all summer.
Look at this gorgeous blue eyed girl!

This cute little bum cracker! Nice tan lines too!

One day we got ready and walked to the pool...this kid put on his moon boots to walk there.  He was cracking me up!

Napoleon Dynamite has nothing on this kid!

This girl loves to wear goggles like the big kids!!  It is too cute!

We hit Lagoon again!! It so fun!

This girl liked the puddles the most, more than any ride!
We ventured to some big kid rides.  Ava loved the Tidal Wave.

Sat across these cuties on the train.

We had a super rainy day in July...Will thought he needed to bust out his winter coat.  Hehe.
We had fun jumping in puddles.

 I love these silly kids!
